PLANT INSTALL LABORER

Northeast Landcare is looking for a skilled Plant Install Laborer for the upcoming season servicing Rochester, Somersworth, Dover and the greater Seacoast Area

DUTIES:
Work outside and keep in great physical condition while installing professional landscapes at residential and commercial properties along the coast. Interact with the crew foreman and follow project instructions to provide optimum services. Assist with landscape maintenance, restoration, and design. Install and cultivate functional and ornamental plants. Transplant and prune shrubs and small trees. Weed landscape beds and assist with mulching. Advise plant care advice to other team members and clients. Each Northeast Landcare team member must have great attendance and strong work ethic attitudes. Will safely transport plants and landscape materials to the job site. Must be able to lift 50 pounds.

– Follow project instructions from the Crew Foreman and execute tasks efficiently
– Offer assistance and effective time in other areas of the company
– Become a reliable resource for Plant Installations
– Keep vehicles, machinery, and tools in good repair and working order
– Meet department tasks expectations
– Continuously improve knowledge, education, & industry awareness

REQUIREMENTS:
Northeast Landcare requires for this position a motivated individual with at least, but not required, 2 years landscape /plant installation experience. Must be willing to learn. Strong candidates will be able to work well following instructions from the crew foreman, handling appointed responsibilities and helping others to achieve their goals. Applicants must have a valid driver’s license and excellent driving record to operate company vehicles. Must be able to complete tasks expressed in the job description and be willing to participate in other activities as deemed necessary by NELC.

Average 40+ hours/week. Typically from 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Some Saturdays may be required to accommodate clients’ needs and work around weather conditions.

REQUIREMENTS FOR HIRE:
EDUCATION & DEGREES:
– 2 years Landscape / Plant Installation experience, limited but not required

DRIVERS LICENSE:
– Valid, clean drivers license

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:
– Have at least 2-3 references
– Must be organized, capable of multi-tasking & working with others
– Must proficiently communicate with clients and colleagues
– Logical and technical reasoning skills

HARDSCAPE INSTALLATION TECHNICIAN

Northeast Landcare is looking for a skilled Hardscape Installer for the upcoming season servicing Rochester, Somersworth, Dover and the greater Seacoast Area.

Work outside and keep in great physical condition while installing professional landscapes at residential and commercial properties along the coast. Interact with the crew foreman and follow project instructions to provide optimum services. Play a major role in the installation process of Hardscapes including; patios, walkways, steps, driveways and retaining walls. Learn and execute proper landscaping techniques and utilize equipment, power tools, small machinery, and hand tools to carry out full service installations and proper handling of all materials. Execute strong attention to detail and personal integrity including working with a team or independently. Each Northeast Landcare team member has great attendance and strong work ethic attitudes. Will routinely load/unload vehicles (including tractors onto trailers) and safely transport equipment and materials to the job site. Individuals must be physically capable of properly lifting heavy materials on a regular basis.

Applicants must have a valid driver’s license and excellent driving record to operate company vehicles. Should have good knowledge of hardscapes, working knowledge of equipment, good communication skills, clean-cut personality, and willingness to work in a team environment. Must be able to complete tasks expressed in the job description and be willing to participate in other activities as deemed necessary by NELC.

CREW TEAM MEMBER

NELC is looking to hire full time Crew Members on our Maintenance Team. Maintenance is responsible for routine mowing, mulching, spring and fall cleanups of all residential and commercial accounts in the Tricity, Rollinsford, Rye, Exeter, and Seacoast area.
